We strongly believe we have created a location that you will love. Whilst recording studios are often primarily used to capture a performance, we understand just how important it is to create an environment which allows our client’s creativity to flow.
Recording For Bands
echo7 recording studio has been designed to perfectly create and capture the sound of your band. So if you are looking to record your single, EP or album we will transform your music into 
releasable finished, mixed and mastered tracks.
We will record you as a band, but retain individual control over all of your recorded instruments, including drums, so if you need to repair mistakes or feel you can play a better take, not a problem. This way, we still have the live feel of your band playing together, but with everyone’s best performance. Of course, if you are looking for a more complex production, recording each part separately or with lots of overdubs that’s fine too.
Recording For Singer/Songwriters
At echo7 we understand how important your music is to you. George is a songwriter and musician too and he is passionate about helping you develop your own sound or song.
George can help at any stage of the creative process. Whether you are starting from a sheet of lyrics, or a bare idea for a melody, a full arrangement you can play on an instrument, George has the skills, knowledge and passion to help you create something you will be proud of. We have a great studio environment which has been designed to make you feel relaxed, comfortable and more importantly creative!
For recording vocals we tend to use the following 3 microphones:
- Avantone CV12. This is a valve microphone and is used exclusively by Taylor Swift – ideal for female vocalists giving depth and fantastic tonal range.
- Shure SM7B. Michael Jackson used this microphone to record his Thriller album.
- Rode NT1A. A good all round vocal microphone and compliments all different types of voices.
However, if you have a favourite microphone that suits you, let us know and we can see if we can get it in. So if you are looking to record your single, EP or album we will transform your music into releasable finished, mixed and mastered tracks.
We offer a combination of high quality recording and mixing facilities to a diverse client base ranging from solo artists and bands, to music producers and DJs to large commercial businesses and children having a wonderful party experience.
